MSC Wins 'Insight Communication' Award at Research Association Effectiveness Awards 2021
MSC, a leading organisation dedicated to enhancing insight development and communication, has been awarded the 'Insight Communication' award at the Research Association Effectiveness Awards 2021. The award recognises MSC's success in preventing risks and its effective communication of safety measures in New Zealand's outdoor areas.
The organisation's tramping safety videos were named as a finalist in the Social, Community and Not for Profit Category. MSC's entry was an example of how sound research can have an impact when communicated effectively. The judges praised MSC for its ability to have an impact on the behaviours of hard-to-reach audiences.
The award-winning work provided real utility for its industry, peers, partners, and the public. MSC's in-depth research into behaviours in New Zealand's outdoors was recognised, with specific safety messaging and campaigns included in the nomination for the award.
The organisation's insights led to effective communication and deeper stakeholder engagement. MSC's Operations Manager and Director of Research NZ, Emanuel Kalafatelis, were present at the awards ceremony in Auckland last week. Emanuel expressed pride in being part of a research project that made a real difference.
The Chief Executive of MSC expressed thrill at the recognition of the organisation's commitment to being evidence-based and its ability to develop and communicate insights. MSC acknowledges all award finalists for their tremendous work.
The award won is considered an "icing on the cake" to MSC's proven success in prevention work. The organisation is proud to be associated with a research partner that works collaboratively to apply insights in ways that make a difference to everyday New Zealanders.
The Director of Research NZ, Emanuel Kalafatelis, and the MSC Operations Manager can be seen in a photo from the awards ceremony, beaming with pride. The award for MSC is a testament to its great plans for the future, with evidence showing its prevention work to be successful. MSC looks forward to continuing to lead the way in enhancing its insight development and communication.
