Alleged vile act by headmistress caught on CCTV, following her imprisonment for sexually assaulting her students, involving a younger inmate.

In a shocking turn of events, Malka Leifer, the 58-year-old woman serving a 15-year sentence for raping and indecently assaulting three Melbourne sisters, has allegedly been involved in another incident of sexual assault. According to reports, the incident was caught on CCTV cameras in the hallway of the Murray Unit at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre.

Leifer, who was jailed for her crimes against Elly Sapper, Nicole Meyer, and Dassi Erlich between 2004 and 2007, is currently confined to a small cell for 23 hours a day. However, despite the strict conditions, she has reportedly gained some perks other prisoners have not received while being held in the protective unit, including a microwave, cooking equipment, special orders every Thursday, and the ability to make challah.

The alleged victim in the incident is a young Aboriginal woman in her 20s who was transferred to the Murray Unit. An inmate who shared a cell with Azzopardi claimed the pair had been writing each other notes and even shared a kiss in front of guards and prisoners.

The sisters who were Leifer's victims in the past have been campaigning for years to bring her to justice. Ms Erlich said it was because they had not given up that they were successful. "The ruling of 15 years recognizes the harm and pain that Malka Leifer caused each one of us to suffer over so many years," she added.

It's important to note that while no amount of years will ever be sufficient, the sisters welcome the sentence as it ensures Leifer cannot prey on anyone else. "While no amount of years will ever be sufficient, we are relieved that Leifer is now in prison for 15 years and cannot prey on anyone else," Ms Sapper said.

The exact number of criminal activities captured on CCTV in Australian maximum-security prisons is not documented in accessible public sources. This data might be restricted due to security and privacy considerations within correctional institutions.
