Andrea Kiewel suffers from hypochondriasis.
In a bid to understand more about health and lifespan improvement, popular German TV host Andrea Kiewel, affectionately known as "Kiwi," recently visited the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. The visit was documented in an article published in the "Jewish General."
During her stay at the renowned medical institution, Kiewel underwent a series of measurements, tests, and cognitive tasks. The objective was to assess her biological age and explore potential ways to improve it. The results of these assessments were promised to be delivered two weeks later.
Kiewel's health-related anxieties stem from her admission of being a hypochondriac, an excessive concern about her health. Despite this, she has managed to maintain a successful career as a TV presenter, notably hosting the "ZDF-Fernsehgarten" since 2009, with a brief interruption in 2007.
Interestingly, Kiewel's family approach to illness is starkly different. Growing up, she recalls her parents going to work even when they had high fevers, a stark contrast to her own health concerns. This visit to the Sheba Medical Center was part of an effort to better understand longevity and manage her health fears.
In her article, Kiewel also shared instances where she hosted her TV show while suffering from health issues such as tonsillitis, various middle ear infections, and even mumps.
As she prepares to return to "ZDF-Fernsehgarten" this Sunday, Kiewel is eager to learn more about her current age and ways to optimise her body's biological age. The Longevity Center at the Sheba Medical Center uses advanced technology, including a computer that creates an avatar with all Kiewel's data, presenting the optimal version of her, which needs optimization.
Despite her health concerns, Kiewel continues to captivate audiences with her charisma and dedication. This Sunday's show promises to be a special one, with a theme of "Schlagerparty meets Küchenschlacht," featuring guests such as Nelson Müller, Semino Rossi, and Patrick Lindner.
Despite the recent cancellation of last Sunday's live show from Mainz due to sports broadcasts, Kiewel remains undeterred and ready to entertain her audience once more.
- Andrea Kiewel, while planning for her return to the "ZDF-Fernsehgarten" this Sunday, expressed her interest in understanding her current age and discovering ways to optimize her body's biological age, particularly in the areas of health-and-wellness, fitness-and-exercise, and mental-health.
- As the Longevity Center at the Sheba Medical Center employs advanced technology like a computer that creates an avatar with all Kiewel's data, showcasing the optimal version of her, she is hopeful that this visit will provide insights to improve her health and reduce her biological age, aligning with other science-based approaches to health-and-wellness and mental-health management.
