The Author's Health Journey and Summer Update

August 11, 2025 Update: Unveiling of Two-Week Body Transformation (Revised on August 12)

In a recent update, the author shares insights into their current health journey and the changes they've made to their lifestyle.

After a two-week period with minimal fasting, the author has increased their gym visits to six to seven days a week. This shift in routine is part of a strategy to balance their fitness regimen while maintaining a manageable pace.

When it comes to nutrition, the author's approach is focused and precise. They will be using an 89% egg-whey- and casein protein blend, with occasional supplement use. Their diet is primarily based on fatty beef, eggs, some fatty fish, and organ meats, ensuring a high-protein, species-appropriate intake.

On training days, the author eats as much as they want, divided into three meals. However, on their days off from the gym, they plan to fast or have only one meal for further fat loss.

The author's weight has fluctuated over the years. In 2020, they saw a significant increase when they resumed weight-lifting, reaching around 76 kg (167 lbs.). However, their body weight was 57 kg (125 lbs.) in 2018 when they were sick. By 2020, despite a low body-fat percentage, their weight had naturally increased to 69 kg (152 lbs.).

The author's hard work has paid off, as they've gained a few pounds of muscle due to increased training and careful calorie management. They've also seen notable improvements in their body composition, with their skin-fold thickness on their biceps decreasing from 2.1 mm to 1.8 mm in 2008, but slightly increasing now due to improved collagen and vitamins in their diet.

However, their umbilical/abdominal skin-fold measurement has shown a more significant increase, from 7.4 mm on July 11 to 5.2 mm on August 10. Their best recorded measurement was 3.0 mm in 2008.

In terms of physical appearance, the author encourages readers to find a "flexed shot" of their legs, as they had tumor-related issues in their legs in 2018. Despite the challenges, they are determined to push their 51-year-old body to new limits.

The author also plans to bring up their glutes more in their training. To balance their routine, they will cut back on their lifting sessions to about four to five a week.
