Clinic in Solingen launches campaign promoting early detection of breast cancer through information
Next week, the Bergisches Breast Center Solingen is hosting an informative event on breast cancer screening at the Municipal Hospital Solingen, Germany. The event, titled "Breast cancer - Early detection is key," is open to all and free of charge.
The event will take place in conference room 3 on the ground floor of the Municipal Hospital Solingen, Gotenstraße 1, Solingen. It will commence at 5:00 PM and conclude around 7:00 PM.
Dr. med. Manuela Seifert, head of the breast clinic, will give a comprehensive lecture on the importance of early detection in breast cancer treatment. Current examination methods, including mammography, ultrasound, and possibly newer techniques, will be discussed during the lecture.
In addition to the lecture, the event will feature a practical session where participants can learn or improve the technique of self-examination under the guidance of experts. This hands-on approach is crucial for early detection, as the self-examination of the breast plays an important role in recognizing potentially suspicious changes early on.
Individualized therapy approaches tailored to the specific needs and disease pictures of the patients will also be discussed during the event. Visitors will have the opportunity to ask questions and address any personal concerns, fears, or uncertainties they may have in connection with breast cancer.
Modern methods of breast cancer diagnosis and therapy will be a significant focus of the event. These methods include digital mammography and 3D tomosynthesis, breast MRI, ultrasound, molecular and genetic testing, biopsy techniques, surgical advances, radiation therapy, systemic therapies, and immunotherapy.
If you are interested in learning more about breast cancer screening, early detection, and modern diagnosis and therapy methods, we encourage you to attend this informative event. Whether you are affected by breast cancer or simply curious about the latest advancements, this event promises to be both educational and empowering.
