Colorado's UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Recognized as a Top-Tier Hospital in the State
UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR) in Loveland has been honoured with a high-performing designation in 13 key procedures and conditions by the 2025-26 U.S. News & World Report's Best Hospitals list. This recognition highlights MCR’s excellence across a broad spectrum of critical healthcare services, contributing to its top-three placement among Colorado hospitals.
MCR's top-three ranking underscores its role as a critical provider of advanced health care for Northern Colorado residents. The hospital was designated as "high-performing" in areas such as heart attack care, cancer treatment, and other significant procedure and condition areas.
The hospital's heart care exceeds national outcomes, reflecting the dedication and expertise of its staff and providers. UCHealth's president and CEO, Elizabeth B. Concordia, attributes the recognition to the health system's staff and providers.

UCHealth's University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora was named No. 1 in the state, while UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins was also recognized as a high-performing facility in six procedures and conditions.
In fiscal year 2024, UCHealth provided over $1.3 billion in community benefits, with MCR contributing significantly to this total. Additionally, UCHealth was honored by the Lown Institute for excellence in social responsibility, community benefit, and patient outcomes.
UCHealth provided $570 million in uncompensated care in fiscal year 2024, demonstrating its commitment to providing care to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
