DrDoGood Brings Innovative Telehealth to Adentan

DrDoGood, a pioneering healthcare platform, is set to revolutionise healthcare delivery in Ghana with its VOIP and AI-powered telehealth initiative. This groundbreaking project aims to provide affordable, reliable, and high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities, particularly those facing challenges in accessing traditional healthcare facilities.

On April 19th, 2025, DrDoGood will collaborate with Father's House Community Chapel for a health outreach event at the Manmomo AstroTurf, Adentan. Over 1,000 residents are expected to benefit from free health screenings, including blood pressure and glucose checks, BMI analysis, and medical consultations.

Emmanuella Tordman, Co-founder and CEO of DrDoGood, shares her excitement about the event, stating, "This is another bold step in our mission to bridge gaps in the traditional healthcare system."

At the outreach event, DrDoGood will pilot its VOIP consultation technology, aiming to bridge the gap in post-screening care and specialist access. This initiative will enable follow-up consultations via phone or internet calls, ensuring fast, efficient care that is both timely and relevant.

In addition, DrDoGood will give out a total of GHS 75,000 in consultation credits to participants of the screening. These credits can be used for virtual consultations after the outreach, further enhancing the accessibility of healthcare services.

DrDoGood's telehealth platform leverages VOIP to provide affordable and reliable voice communication channels, enabling patients in remote or resource-limited areas to connect directly with healthcare professionals. AI is integrated to assist in preliminary diagnostics, symptom checking, and triaging patients, helping to screen and prioritise cases efficiently.

The system uses an AI-powered routing engine to match patients with the next available doctor most suited to their condition, providing personalised and effective care. This combination allows for timely medical advice and consultation to reach individuals who might otherwise have limited or no access to healthcare facilities.

DrDoGood partners with over 43 facilities and has over 200 health providers on its platform. The company's mission is to make healthcare affordable, accessible, and personalised across Ghana and beyond.
