Employers in Kamchatka can offer adjusted compensation to individuals with disabilities to accommodate job positions
As of 2025, employers in Kamchatka Krai can receive subsidies from the Social Insurance Fund (SIF) under the federal "Active Labor Market Policies" project. This funding will help cover costs associated with creating or adapting jobs for individuals with disabilities.
These subsidies can be used for purchasing essential and auxiliary equipment, technical aids, and specialized furniture. In addition, the SIF branch in Kamchatka Krai will cover expenses for the installation of this equipment and the setup of home workplaces, if stipulated in the employment contract.
According to Tatiana Skumatova, head of the Kamchatka Krai SIF branch, the subsidies are available for employees with disabilities of the first and second groups, as well as war veterans of any disability group. The payment per job will not surpass 200,000 rubles.
Workplaces will be tailored to the specific individual or group of employees with similar functional impairments, considering the individual's rehabilitation or restoration program.
In order to receive these subsidies, certain conditions must be met. The employee with disabilities must be employed for at least nine months as per the employment contract, the contract must be signed after January 1, 2025, and a subsidy application must be submitted to the employment center within three months of signing the employment contract, along with documents confirming the expenses incurred in 2025.
Legal entities, including non-profit organizations, and individual entrepreneurs (except for state and municipal organizations) can benefit from these subsidies.
The employment center will review the submitted documents within 15 working days, after which a special commission will verify the documents confirming the expenses for workplace equipment within five days. Upon fulfilling all conditions and requirements set forth in the subsidy provision rules, the Employment Center forwards documents to the Social Fund. In the absence of any remarks, the Social Fund's Kamchatka Branch includes the employer in the subsidy allocation registry and transfers funds within 10 working days.
For any inquiries related to compensation, assistance can be sought from the single contact center at 8 (800) 100-00-01 (toll-free).
