Enhanced 2G Technology Now Available for Sports Activities and Bathing Sessions
During the Christmas holidays from December 28, 2021, to January 9, 2022, the Corona regulations of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) applied to the Neuss pools, ice rink, and "Wellness" facilities.
The regulation required proof of full vaccination, recovery, or a negative rapid test for all individuals visiting these facilities. For immunized individuals, a negative rapid test result, not older than 24 hours, was also required.
Masks were not worn during sports or swimming in these facilities. However, social distancing and capacity limits were in place, and pre-registration or timed entry might have been required.
Young people aged 16 and above were treated like adults in terms of this regulation. Children aged 6 and above, and young people up to the age of 15, were also required to provide proof of full vaccination, recovery, or a negative rapid test.
