Event Schedule for Sexual Respect Week 2025
The Student Government Association (SGA) at College of the Holy Cross is hosting Sexual Respect Awareness Week from Monday, February 10 to Friday, February 14. This week-long event is in partnership with the Office of Title IX & Equal Opportunity and the Relationship Peer Educators (RPEs), with the goal of starting a conversation and promoting awareness around sexual respect on campus.
On Monday, February 10, students can attend an "Agape Latte" at 4:30 p.m. in the Campion Living Room, and a workshop "Creating Healthy Club Culture" at 7:00 p.m. in Hogan 402/3. On Tuesday, February 11, students can share "What does love look like to you?" between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Hogan 1 lobby tables, and make a Valentine's craft at Pub Night at 9:00 p.m. in The Pub located in Hogan Basement.
On Wednesday, February 12, there will be a "Belonging Lobby Table" on Hogan 1 between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and an event "The Birds and the Bees...and STD's" at 8:00 p.m. in the Prior Performing Arts Center. On Thursday, February 13, SPEECH Peer Educators hosted a Dialogue Dinner as part of Sexual Respect Awareness Week, exploring the question: "What is the role a Catholic college or university plays in sexual education?" There will also be a "Brewed Insights: Title IX and Equal Opportunity Careers Panel and Coffee" at 11:00 a.m. in the Ciampi Condron classroom.
On Friday, February 14, there will be a "Sexual Respect Week Debrief" at 4:00 p.m. in Hogan 320, and a Men's Hockey senior game vs. Mercyhurst with Valentine's Day candy and facts about consent at 6:00 p.m., Hart Athletic Center, Hart Center Rink.
The events during Sexual Respect Awareness Week aim to educate the College of the Holy Cross community, celebrate healthy sexuality, and foster learning and discussion around healthy relationships, love, and belonging on campus.
