Free Fall Prevention Lecture for Seniors in Alexandria on Nov 20

Senior Services of Alexandria presents a free lecture on autumn prevention and safety, part of the 2025-2026 Senior Living in Alexandria Speaker Series. The event takes place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Beth El Hebrew Congregation in Alexandria, Virginia. The lecture, organized by Senior Services of Alexandria, will cover crucial topics to help adult older adults and caregivers maintain balance, confidence, and independence. Local experts from Belleview Medical Partners, Woodbine Rehab and Healthcare Center, the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Alliance, and Crouch Realty Group of Corcoran McEnearney will present strategies to understand fall risk factors, access community-based resources, and make homes safer for aging in place. Attendees will also learn about support and recovery options following a fall.
