Funding Secured: $24 Million Series B for broadening male fertility testing services by Fellow Health

Fellow Health, a pioneering company specializing in clinical-grade, mail-in semen testing, has secured $24 million in Series B funding. This investment will propel the company forward in its mission to redefine male reproductive health delivery, making testing more accessible and integrated into the broader healthcare landscape.

The funding round was led by 5AM Ventures and The Forest Road Company, with Bill Burkoth, Managing Partner, Life Sciences, Forest Road, joining Fellow Health's Board of Directors as part of this round. Andy Schwab, Managing Partner of 5AM Ventures, is also a member of Fellow Health's Board.

"We are thrilled to have the support of 5AM Ventures and The Forest Road Company as we continue to grow and disrupt a large, overlooked market," said Brian Hogan, CEO of Fellow Health.

With this new investment, Fellow Health aims to expand its mail-in semen analysis services, focusing on fertility and post-vasectomy testing. The company plans to scale these services, making them more accessible and convenient for patients.

In addition, Fellow Health intends to grow its network of over 2,500 fertility and urology practices nationwide. This expansion will enhance its ability to reach more patients and providers, further integrating male reproductive health into the fertility care landscape.

The company also has plans to enter the employer-sponsored fertility benefits market. By making male reproductive health services more accessible through employer-provided benefits, Fellow Health hopes to significantly expand its market reach.

Fellow Health's strategic plan for growth also includes integration and access initiatives. The company will leverage insights from its success in urology practices to deepen its footprint in fertility, aiming for broader access initiatives that will make its services more integrated into the fertility care ecosystem.

The traditional methods of testing for male reproductive health are outdated. Fellow Health's platform applies the same rigor and precision that occurs at a traditional clinic, delivering accurate results privately and conveniently. Since its inception, Fellow Health has delivered over 50,000 test results this year alone.

This funding brings Fellow Health's total funding to $48 million. 5AM Ventures, known for backing science that redefines what's possible in healthcare, believes that Fellow Health is doing just that, disrupting a large, overlooked market and shifting the standard of care in a traditionally overlooked segment of reproductive health.
