Mark Your Calendars: North Regional Health Center's Feb 2024 Cooking Demos

Mark your calendars for February 2024, as the North Regional Health and Wellness Center hosts a series of hands-on cooking demos. These events, organized by Sarah Johnson and David Miller, aim to educate and inspire healthy eating habits. Registration is required for all demos.

Kicking off the month is the 'Meal Prep 101' demo on Feb 8. Attendees will learn to prepare crispy tuna patties, creamy tuna pasta, and stuffed sweet potatoes. On Feb 13, the 'Cooking for Kids' demo will teach parents how to make veggie-filled wraps and healthier Valentine cookies for their little ones.

The highlight of the month is the 'Hands-On Cooking' demo on Feb 29. Participants will learn to cook Shakshuka, a hearty and healthy dish, and a guilt-free treat to satisfy sweet cravings. All demos will provide free samples, recipe cards, and educational handouts.
