Support Hotlines for Psychological Assistance During Exam Periods

In an effort to provide assistance during stressful periods, particularly exam periods, a special hotline for psychological support has been organized. This service is anonymous and available to anyone experiencing stress, regardless of their location.

The federal 24/7 hotline number is 8-800-600-31-14. For those needing psychological support outside of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky's municipal hours, the federal 24/7 hotline number and the regional hotline number (7 909 835-25-50) remain available.

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, two additional municipal support lines are available: 7 909 892-76-16 and 7 909 892-76-18. These lines operate during weekdays, from 09:00 to 16:00. The regional hotline operates within the same hours.

The support services are not limited to graduates and their parents, but can be used by anyone in need. The service is free to use and anonymous, ensuring that those seeking help can do so without worry.

Beyond these hotlines, a variety of psychological support resources are available. For instance, University Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offer 24/7 mental health crisis care, personalized therapy, and educational materials. Virtual mental health platforms like TimelyCare provide on-demand support with 30-minute sessions available 24/7. Campus Counseling Centers and Testing Services offer counseling with options to select therapists by gender, race, or specialization.

Online and local mental health resource pages, such as those maintained by school districts, compile varied resources tailored specifically for students seeking assistance. Community colleges also list numerous additional resources addressing crisis hotlines, suicide prevention, self-harm, domestic violence, substance abuse treatment centers, and addiction recovery services.

These resources extend beyond phone hotlines to offer a broad spectrum of mental health support, including real-time counseling, personalized therapy, educational materials, and specialized community services for students and their families. Reach out for help if needed, and know that you are not alone during stressful periods.
