According to reports, Alana fell ill after consuming a cake and cheese bread at her grandmother's residence. She was quickly rushed to the local hospital in cardiac arrest but unfortunately did not survive.
The Civil Police have initiated an inquiry into the case and have collected the foods consumed by Alana, including those baked by her grandmother and a bag left by her uncle, for examination.
A neighbor took Alana to the hospital, but it was too late to save her. To add to the mystery, a dead cat was found in the vicinity, showing symptoms similar to those exhibited by Alana. The cat's body has been sent for analysis by the Health Surveillance, which may provide valuable insights into the source of the problem.
At this stage, the official cause of Alana's death is yet to be confirmed, whether it was indeed food poisoning or another cause. The results of the laboratory tests are still pending for definitive conclusions.
