Northern Colorado's Windsor Marathon Aims to Bolster Local Cancer Care Services
The Windsor Marathon is set to return on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at The Island at Pelican Lakes in Windsor, Colorado. This community tradition attracts runners from across Northern Colorado and beyond, offering an opportunity for participants of all ages and fitness levels to participate.
This year, the Windsor Marathon is more than just a race. Proceeds from the event will directly support Banner MD Anderson Cancer Centers in Loveland and Greeley, providing essential funding for advancing cancer research, clinical trials, and patient support programs for families across the region.
Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, with centers in Loveland and Greeley, offers prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and supportive services in a multidisciplinary setting. The center collaborates with MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, ensuring that patients receive world-class cancer care close to home.
The Windsor Marathon consists of a full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, and the 1 Mile Fit & Fun Run. Following the races, the community can enjoy an extended after-party with live music, food, drinks, and a kids zone offering family-friendly activities.
Registration for the Windsor Marathon is currently open, but the deadline for the current registration price is September 19, 2025. After this date, the price for registration will increase.
