Headline: Drone Incident Causes Railway Damage and Train Delays in Krasnodar Region

In the Krasnodar region of Russia, a drone incident has caused significant disruption to the local railway system, resulting in delays to Southern trains. The damage to the railway was first reported by "Live Kuban".

The exact location of the drone damage on the railway is not specified. However, it is known that the incident occurred in the region, causing enough damage to disrupt train operations.

This is not the first time drone attacks have targeted facilities in the Krasnodar region. Previously, oil facilities, including an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, have been hit by drone strikes, resulting in fires but causing no casualties. The Afipsky oil refinery was also previously hit by drone strikes causing fires.

Apart from the railway damage, the drone incident in the Vyselkovsky District caused damage to two private homes and a car. In Slaviansk-on-Kuban, a resident was injured due to a drone attack while on the street. The man's condition is assessed as moderate according to the regional Ministry of Health. Emergency services are working at the scene of both incidents.

The head of the Slaviansky District has been instructed to provide all possible support to the victims. The man injured in Slaviansk-on-Kuban was transported from a local hospital to the First Regional Hospital for further medical and diagnostic care.

It is important to note that no one was injured in the Vyselkovsky District drone incident.

The Federal Air Transport Agency reported cancellations of flights at Volgograd Airport after drone activity was detected near the oil refinery in Volgograd, indicating some disruption in transportation due to air defense measures and drone threats.

This information comes from Ukrainian and Russian official and independent reports on August 13, 2025. The governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratyev, has confirmed the incidents.

The disruption to the railway system in the Krasnodar region wasn't merely limited to trains; it also sparked a discussion about the potential risks associated with unregulated use of drones, which could impact health and wellness, given the medical-conditions incidents caused by drone attacks in the same region. The incident in Slaviansk-on-Kuban, for instance, left a resident with moderate injuries. Furthermore, the advancement of science and technology, especially in drone technology, should prioritize safety measures to avoid such incidents in the future, ensuring health-and-wellness for all.
