The study of Community Medicine will span over two years (Third B.H.M.S and Fourth B.H.M.S) but will be assessed at the end of the Fourth B.H.M.S (there will be no exam in 3 BHMS for this subject). The guide is structured as follows:
THEORY SYLLABUS

During the 4-year B.H.M.S, these are the subjects covered:- Epidemiology- Bio-statistics- Demography and Family Planning- Health education and health communication- Health care of community- International Health- Mental Health- Maternal and Child Health- School Health Services- National Health Programs of India- Hospital waste management- Disaster management- Study of aphorisms of organon of medicine and other homoeopathic literatures, relevant to the above topics
EXAMINATIONThere will be an examination of the Community Medicine subject only in Fourth B.H.M.S.
