Ruperto Carola's 'Univitality Health Week' Focuses on Cardiovascular Health

Ruperto Carola's University Health Management is hosting 'Univitality Health Week' from 29th September to 2nd October 2025. The week offers a range of activities focused on cardiovascular health for students and employees.

The week kicks off with Janik Meyer, a physiotherapist and medical student, leading an online lunchtalk titled 'Foundations of Heart Health' on 29th September. The following day, Prof. Dr. Simon Steib will speak about 'Exercise as Medicine'. Mona Henz, a psychology student and stress management trainer, will discuss 'Heart Calm through Relaxation' on 2nd October. Nutrition consultant Rebecca Steiner will provide heart health tips in her talk 'Nutrition for Heart and Circulation' on 1st October.

Physical activities throughout the week include Pilates, full-body workouts, rope skipping, guided walks, and beginner's running courses. A cardiovascular screening is available daily from 8 AM to 5 PM at three university locations. Additionally, CPR training is offered daily from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Zeughaus-Mensa in the Marstall.
